Numerology is the study of how numbers affect people’s daily lives and how it can be used as a metaphysical tool that can help us investigate the very nature of our being. Each number has a unique vibration and the combination of numbers in a person’s chart has an enormous influence on their personality and prevailing tendencies or inclinations. Numerology is an ancient science dating back thousands of years used by a variety of cultures to assist us humans in endeavors of the human spirit – our goals, our aspirations of achievement. Numerology can be successfully used to help people gain enhanced self-understanding as well as predicting the future energies and the general direction or movement in our lives on any given year, month or day → the trends in our lives so to speak.

Numbers in Relation to Personality

The single-digit numbers 1 through 9 are the cardinal numbers and every human characteristic, quality, or idiosyncrasy is represented in one of the nine cardinal numbers, and are the basis and foundation of the science of numerology. The vibratory power of each of these numbers has its own personality, strengths and weakness, therefore you want to look at each cardinal number (1 – 9) as if it were a personality with its own set of distinct characteristics and habits, which is important in establishing a very specific vibration that emanates from this source.

I am a Pythagorean Numerologist. Based on my research and own personal opinion, here is my interpretation of the planets, astrological signs and tarot associations that correspond to each of the nine cardinal numbers in numerology.

The Force

Number 1 resonates with the vibrations and energies of new beginnings, independence, strength, attainment, uniqueness, motivation, striving forward, creation, progress, ambition, will power, positivity,  the pioneering, raw energy, force, activity, leadership, assertiveness, initiative, instinct and intuition.

Strength of the 1 Person: Anyone born on the 1st, 10th, 19th or 28th or with a Life Path of 1 are number one people. They are Individualistic and independent showing leadership qualities, the 1 is masculine, focused, original and a self-starter. Number 1 is also progressive, strong-willed and self-reliant. Can be rebellious. Good if used in a positive and productive manner.

Weakness: 1’s can be aggressive, selfish, stubborn, undisciplined. Does not cool down easy. Can be stuck mentally in their head, and temperamental with mood swings.

Weakness: 4’s pay for their stability and pragmatism by having a dull side. This can manifest itself as displaying a lack of imagination, emotions and empathy. Some 4’s have issues with social awkwardness and sometimes lack the fashion gene and don’t put much care into their appearance. 4’s can be jealous.

They are efficient, especially in a crisis, capable and read people well. They can be a good judge of character as long as the other numbers in their numerology chart are compatible. They have much grit and determination which can define them and they are in for the long haul. No one struggles for so long like the 8 person. When others give up, the 8 just goes on and on.

Weakness: For the 8, life can be an uphill battle. They get used to the struggle, but what is daunting for others is normal to them. This relentlessness can eventually wear on them and their health. 8’s may be hard to read, because their general exterior and facial expression can come off as aloof, negative and uninterested.
