BIRTH CERTIFICATE VS NUMEROLOGY BIRTH CHART
When you are born, you are given a birth name, which is recorded on your birth certificate along with your date of birth. The chart above is what a Numerology Birth Chart looks like. All numbers ascertained in this chart provides a complete personality profile as well as a forecast chart. This is Oprah Winfrey’s Numerology Birth and forecast Chart for the years 2002 – 2004. Your chart would be customized for you with the appropriate years at the time of your numerology session with me.
From your birth name and your date of birth, there are five Core numbers that give a numerologist very important information to create the basis of your numerical blueprint. The first three core numbers are the Soul, Personality and Destiny numbers from your birth name. The last two core numbers are from your date of birth giving us your Birth Day Number and Life Path numbers. As you can see from the above Numerology chart, designed by Master Numerologist and author of Numerology: Key To Your Inner Self Hans DeCoz, there are many, many numbers in your numerology chart, but they all come from two basic things – your name and date of birth. Using Oprah Winfrey’s Chart, I will lay out the five core numbers from her birth name and date of birth from left to right as follows:
Birth Name: Oprah Gail Winfrey / Date of Birth: January 29, 1954
4 – 3 – 7 – 2 / 4 Life Path
Oprah has a 4 Soul, 3 Personality, 7 Destiny, 29/2 Birth Day / 4 Life Path
It’s important to note that in numerology all double-digit numbers are reduced to a single-digit number. So while Oprah’s birth day is on the 29th, it does ultimately reduce to the number 2 and the formula is this: (2 + 9 = 11 and then 1 + 1 = 2). So she has a 29/2 Birth Day.
Unlike astrology, you do not need your time of birth or your city or state of birth to have your Numerology Chart done. However, I always find it fascinating to look at the vibrations of those particular numbers. The city and state you were born in can give a numerologist a clue about compatibility of location, and the time of birth always adds another layer of vibration when you made your debut into the world.
That being said, the numbers from your date of birth and birth name are all I need as a numerologist to assemble your chart. These become your personal numbers and represent who you are. They are your genetic blueprint and tell the story of your life through your own numbers. Let me break it down:
THE NAME NUMBERS
Your name is very important and is actually considered your secret code, which reveals a lot of information about your desires, your personality and what you came to accomplish in this lifetime. Your name is broken down into three segments:
- Soul Number – Your soul number reveals your secret desires or wishes and is the single most important number that determines the motivation behind virtually all your choices – in particular those related to life style and environment. Your soul number influences the type of conditions you like to work under – alone or with other people. Your closer relationships come in contact with this personal inner you. This number is derived from the vowels of your name.
- Personality Number – Your personality number reveals the public you – the face or mask you show the world and the kind of people you attract to yourself. It is what people recognize when they first meet you. The personality number is usually what gets you hired, while the Destiny number is the greatest influence on how you perform. This number is derived from the consonants of your name.
- Destiny Number – This number is the result of all the letters in your name. The Soul + the Personality = your Destiny. This number reveals what you came to do with your life and accomplish. Your destiny is like the business to be established worked out through your Life Path, which is the stock you already have on hand – basically it’s what you already are without any effort. Your Destiny number can help to guide you toward living a life that really matters to you and will help you live up to your fullest potential.
BIRTH NAME VS CURRENT NAME
Your full birth name as recorded on your birth certificate is the name that must be used for all calculations involving your name. Nicknames, changed names including marriage name changes do not dilute the importance of the name given to by your parents, they are simply a layer underneath your birth name (your primary foundation) that can compensate in some way for numbers (and their characteristics) that are missing or out of balance in the birth name. The birth name provides your Destiny number – what you came here to do and accomplish with your life. The name you use to introduce yourself to others (either shortened or name change) can be considered your power name and is the name you feel closest to in relaxed social settings. THE BIRTH DAY NUMBERS
The last two numbers, the birth day number and the life path number are derived from your date of birth. Please note that if your birth date is a double-digit number, then it reduces to a single digit number. Also, if you were born on the 17th, you are a 17/8 or if you were born on the 26th, you are a 26/8. However, I read both numbers when your chart is being interpreted, but it is the single-digit that is the most important in the Life Path number. So for example a 17 or a 26 are both an 8 Life Path.
- Birth Day Number – The day you were born bears significance in helping you understand the special talents you possess.
- Life Path Number – Your date of birth provides you with your Life Path number. This number represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life. It’s your life experience number and the lessons you are here to learn and carry out. It is also the one number in your chart that can be used as a gauge to help you identify vocations or a suitable career. Most numerologists agree that your Life Path number is the single most important number in your chart because it represents why you incarnated and represents who you fundamentally are. The Life path is your big adventure in life and shows you your opportunities, challenges and the lessons you must learn in this lifetime and the path that will best serve you. It can be compared to your “Life’s Play” and you are the main character in this play. Everyone who comes into your life have either a major or a minor part in your play.
