Week 12 – The Sacrifice

Week 12 of 2023 is the beginning of the Vernal or Spring Equinox and it’s a turning point in the season. Vernal means of the spring and new and fresh; Equinox means equal. Therefore on the Vernal Equinox we experience a balance of the day and the night, equal amounts of light and dark on the same day. Spring arrives on a 3 universal day so the energy activates joy, enthusiasm and optimism.

The vibration of 12 is one of sacrifice and represents a quiet pause in your life. It’s a time to stop, look and listen. It’s the week when you should spend time thinking and learning to see things as they really are and not as you want to see them. When you bring these conflicting polarities into perspective in your mind, you create an inner harmony that is reflected in your outer environment. Meditate on the miseries of your world – If your world is in disharmony or out of alignment, it’s important to realize that your thoughts have created your problems and that a change of scenery is in order. Two techniques that will help put you in touch with this power of dissension that is working beneath the surface is meditation and breath work. When you relax and change your thinking or mindset, you can begin to center yourself. Then your affairs will automatically take care of themselves without any effort on your part. Let the cycle work for you this week – observe, meditate and reflect.

Monday marks the beginning of Aries Season – a new cycle begins.

Tuesday is a New Moon in Aries, the first of two this year.

Midweek on Wednesday, there is a powerful 22 master vibration that gives us the potential to accrue vast wealth and power. This is a building number, meaning that we can building anything from the bottom up or from scratch. You reach your goal and/or the fulfilment of your secret desires can become a reality.

Thursday brings the third of three master vibrations in numerology – number 33. This is the number of Christ because the title Saviour reduces to 33. It is considered an upper octave of Venus, a love vibration raised to the highest level – compassion. This is a day when you should maintain faith in your inner abilities to help others alleviate their problems. Others could seek you out for assistance or counselling.

Friday mirrors the universal year of 7 that we are currently in during 2023. This is a message of faith, trust and truth. Be hopeful by making the best of times; you can build trust in yourself by doing more of the things that you are good at, rather than the things you aren’t so good at; seek the truth with introspection and reflection to draw on experience and knowledge.

It’s a great day to start over or do something new and is really the best day this week to get your plans off the ground, other than the New Moon in Aries on Tuesday. Whatever you’ve been wanting to do or waiting for – this is the day and it aligns with the overall vibration of the week helping you tap into your artistic nature and is extremely beneficial for communication with others.

I drew the Rune Ehwaz (Movement) this week. This is perfect because this is a Rune of transition and movement, of physical shifts, new dwelling places, new attitudes or new life. This is the opposite of the Hanged Man who seems stuck, while Ehwaz wants you to move on. This Rune advises you to create movement with gradual steps and steady progress. This could apply to the growth of a business or to the development of an idea. A relationship may need to undergo changes if it is to live and grow. Effort and steadfastness is called for. Important Astro Aspects This Week

We have a flurry of astrological activity that begins right at the beginning of the week.

• Aries Season begins March 20th. The Sun enters Aries on Monday marking the first day of spring and the beginning of the astrological new year. This Aries energy is big, impulsive and fiery, and there will be tendencies to be red-hot and impetuous over the next month. The good thing with Aries energy is that it gives you that ready-to-go energy. You will know where you want to go and will be directed to take action where needed. This will help you to initiate projects. The bad news is that Aries is good out of the gate, but not as good at finishing things, so things can be left undone. Be careful with this. Plan and execute ALL the way.
• The Spring Equinox/Vernal Equinox on March 20th.
• New Moon in Aries March 21st. In Aries, this Moon is the time to take action, try something new and be innovative. Aries gives you the gusto and confidence you need.
• Pluto enters Aquarius March 23rd. The last time Pluto changed signs was back in 2008 during the financial crisis. Here we have an intensity of this Plutonian energy again with the banking institutions back in the news causing a crisis and fear. Pluto is the head of the Department of death, destruction and decay. Things that are past their expiration date need to be replaced.
• Mars in Cancer March 25th. This is where we pursue our interests ardently, but we can take an indirect approach going after what we want. Goals and plans can vacillate and we are more defensive rather than aggressive. This transit can cause more moodiness than usual.

1. During the Cazimi New Moon on March 21st. A Cazimi Moon occurs during a New Moon and brings special and powerful good luck. It’s the perfect time for new beginnings. 2. When the Moon sextiles Saturn March 23rd. This is a good opportunity that is suitable for anything you want to see grow from finances to romance.

February closes out the week with a standstill on Monday only to be revived on Tuesday with a fresh new start and beginning. On Monday there’s a feeling of altruism, eccentricity and the need for perfection. You feel lonely and alienated. On Tuesday these feelings are replaced with independence, strength, motivation and progress. Your ambition returns and there’s a feeling of raw energy, assertiveness and initiative. Week 9 – Let Go

It’s Week 9 of 2023 from February 27 through March 5th, so the focus this week is on your ability to let go or release something that is no longer relevant or needed in your world. This release could be associated with a personal situation or a business, your career or anything financial. Think of something in these areas that is no longer working and/or is no longer viable. This release, this letting go could be related to a person, a place or a thing.

If it’s something personal such as a relationship, he or she may no longer be relevant for you if they are not growing with you emotionally and/or spiritually. It may be time to release as difficult and painful as it is. If the feeling is strong and it hasn’t been working between you for a long period of time, or there is anger, conflict or abuse, then your answer is yes.

If it’s an emotion that is working against you, look at why you are so attached to it and how these emotions can be destructive in your relationships or everyday life.

If it’s business, career or financial, take stock of your situation. Are your business interests or partners compatible with your original goals and is the vision the same? If it’s financial, take a look at your current investments (money, stock, real estate, etc.) Are they still growing for you and still profitable?

This Week in Astrology

Monday February 27th starts off the week with a First Quarter Moon in Pisces on a 9 Universal day. Any quarter moon could bring some challenges your way. The universe could be testing you when some hurdles and issues emerge. This quarter moon energy is intensified because the day vibration and the week vibration are a match at number 9. This can create some resistance on our part because things are at a standstill with this 9 ending energy, and it’s difficult to get enough power to stave off the inertia that is being created. Fortunately, this is only temporary as the energy will shift on Tuesday with a number 1 vibration and thankfully we are in a new start and new beginnings position.

Thursday March 2nd Mercury shifts into Pisces. An intensification of this Pisces energy is now occurring as the Sun moved into Pisces on February 18th. In Pisces we are touchy-feely and are more motivated to dream. We can let illusions get in the way rather than the hard, cold truth. We like to stay below the surface rather than come up to face reality. With Mercury in Pisces we prefer to stay in the world of emotions, intuition and imagination. Our thinking is clouded.
