This Week in Numerology

Hello numerology fans far and wide! Week 16 – Disruption

This week focuses us on awakenings, health, accidents and love affairs. Be careful this week as the 16/7 vibration is intended to overthrow existing conditions, especially in a material sense. Ideas and habits that are incorrect or false thinking must be changed and adjusted. If not, then things could be altered in a way where your hand is forced. There could be losses and/or setbacks in business and financial affairs, so this is not the week to take any kind of dangerous or experimental risks. You could lose a desired position or be involved in a scandal. You must guard against ego and selfishness. In established relationships or one that is new, there could be some some sort of deception or separation in matters of the heart. This could cause isolation and loneliness. The energy operating during this cycle is intense, so it’s important not to overwork now. Take a break. Go on vacation. Plan wisely and readjust things that need tweaking. Get in touch with your soul. Listen to your intuition. Listen to the advice of your inner self and reformulate a new plan. Then illumination will come and open you up to new ideas for your future and future prospects. While the power for loss is great under this vibration, so too is the potential for gain and prosperity. All the rewards are yours as long as you are not obsessed with possession.

The 16 Tower energy this week ties in with the Solar Eclipse energy (the effects last up to 6 months) and the upcoming Mercury Retrograde that lasts for the next three weeks through May 15th.

Number 16 reduces to the number 7, the number that resonates with the vibrations and energies of  spirituality, trust, faith, truth, collective consciousness, faith, spirituality, mysticism, intuition, the esoteric, inner-self, deep contemplation, introspection, eccentric, religion, thoughtfulness, understanding of others, natural healer, healing, secrets, myth, ritual, peace, emotions, feelings, inner-strength, endurance, perseverance, persistence, the ability to bear hardships, quick-wit, the loner, solitary,  isolation, long-sighted, the non-conformist, independence and individualism.

16/7 is a double-edged sword. There are both good and bad consequences. When you ae wielding a double-edged sword, you have to be careful that you don’t cut yourself when you are trying to swing it at an opponent. Such a sword can be helpful in striking your opponent and harmful if you strike yourself. So it’s important to live on the right side of the sword.

Tarot Card of the Week

The Tarot card this week goes to the Tower. This is a wake-up call kind of card. The message is simple but definitely an unsettling one. It stands for dramatic upheaval and change. If you look at this card, it depicts a scene of devastation where someone (perhaps you) in the tower is brought crashing down by a fork of lightening (the force) representing a sudden and dramatic reversal in your life. For those who don’t like change, this card will be unwelcome, as sometimes change doesn’t give us time to adapt and can be abrupt and without warning. But sometimes that is just what we need – to be shook up and/or given a wake-up call. The guidance is to be prepared for changes. Changes that can be dramatic in your circumstances. If you resist the change that needs to happen, it increases your suffering, so it’s important to be adaptable and try to see the positive side of change. When you go with the flow of necessary changes and don’t hold onto what’s old and in a state of decay, you open yourself up for the growth of your soul. This is where you will find inner peace and clarity. This is when you become unstuck and move forward in new and positive ways.

Important Astro Aspects This Week

It’s a VERY busy astrological week. We have a New Moon, a solar eclipse, Taurus Season begins and we have the first Mercury Retrograde of the year, so things will be exciting, exhilarating and challenging.

April 19th and 20th New Moon Solar Eclipse. 9:12 PM PDT / 12:12 AM EDT.
This solar eclipse occurs in the final degree of Aries creating strong emotions and feelings of critical importance. In the sign of Aries this eclipse puts matters related to impulse control, action, tempers, courage, independence and assertion into strong focus. During this week’s 16/7 vibration, it it could create extremes of electricity and expectations and shake ups created by change. Therefore this is a good time to focus on the positive Aries traits – sincerity, bravery, hard-working and the confidence to stand up to change created through chaos.

A New Moon is always a new beginning and the time to write out your new moon letters and say your affirmations in order to manifest what you desire.
