Farewell to Prince

The Purple Rain legend has died. Prince passed into the realms of the Angels and other celestial worlds and into the ethers prince-3on April 21, 2016. May he rest in eternal peace.

Prince’s unexpected death is such a loss to so many people around the world. There was such an outpouring of grief and there are still so many tributes going on almost a week later. But why is it that we feel such a deep sadness and connection to so many celebrities that have passed this year? It feels personal and the loss feels huge making us think about our own mortality. One thing I believe for sure, is that the World is in a 9 universal year which represents endings, loss, transition and completion. We have come to the end of a nine-year cycle and it feels like things have stopped dead in its tracks. We can’t seem to move forward or get our balance. As an ending year may denote, it’s the end of the line and getting rid of what should stay and what should go. Keep what works and let go of what does not. We are seeing this play out on the world stage and in our personal lives as things come to a climax. Many beloved celebrities began passing away just as the 2016 began in early January with the death of David Bowie and Alan Rickman as the first two blows. We all know that death is simply a part of life and I believe that, even though his death was and is tragic, it is part of his soul karma and this was the day Prince chose to leave planet Earth. But also a number 9 universal year is the year of the humanitarian and we just lost a big one.

But let me talk to you about Prince’s very fascinating numerology chart and the many ironic twists in the numbers on the very day he died. But first:

Born Prince Rogers Nelson born on June 7, 1958 his birth name and Life Path Numbers are from left to right: soul, personality, destiny, life path.

9 – 1 – 1 – 9

What I see are double 9’s and double 1’s in his four core numbers. Quite a fascinating chart for such a fascinating man who was multi-talented as a musician, songwriter, record producer and actor. When you have the placement of two ones surrounded by two nines, it really denotes someone who really made a huge impact on the world and did it their way. Those two nines in Prince’s chart not only indicates someone who had a huge heart and gave to others, but Prince actually did make many, many contributions giving millions  to countless charities by helping many people and organizations through his charitable efforts. It is also an indication of someone who attracts others to them through the power of attraction. Prince had the “It factor.”

Now with the placement of those two ones as a Personality and a Destiny number, he was someone who most definitely marched to the beat of a different drummer. One huge example is when he famously split from Warner Brothers after 20 years because he felt like he wasn’t in charge of himself as an artist or his music and didn’t even own his own music.

He began wearing the word slave on his face and changed his stage name to a symbol. Ironically enough, the word Slave adds up to the number 14/5 – a karmic debt number representing loss of freedom.

People think I’m a crazy fool for writing ‘slave’ on my face,” he told Rolling Stone magazine in 1996. “But if I can’t do what I want to do, what am I? When you stop a man from dreaming, he becomes a slave. That’s where I was. I don’t own Prince’s music. If you don’t own your masters, your master owns you.

This is simply something that cannot be tolerated for those with ones prominently placed in their charts – especially double 1’s. Number 1’s do not like to be told what to do. Period. With the placement of the 1 not only as his personality, but it was also his Destiny to lead the way – not the other way around. So this is why Prince was Prince and could do what he wanted to do. It’s also interesting to note that two of Prince’s Challenge numbers in his chart were also 1’s. Challenges represent obstacles and specific lessons one must work on. A number 1 challenge forces someone to stand up for themselves. Since he had two 1’s in his core numbers, he was able to do this quite effectively and this challenge was diminished, but I feel he felt lonely during this process – that no one understood him. But he always knew what he was doing and where he was going. So as you can see, this number 1 thing was in his Numerology DNA positively and negatively. He lived his life the way he saw fit as a musical genius, a friend, and a humanitarian. He gave from his heart in many, many ways. He touched so many people with his music and his generosity. He lived his life like Frank Sinatra so famously sang “I did it my way.”

Now as a numerologist I do write about and follow the energy patterns of numbers through universal events, I just have to say that Prince did die during week 16/7 of 2016 on a 16/7 universal day and the 911 call was made at 9:43 which also adds up to 16/7. The number 16 is known as a karmic debt number that represents disruption and sudden events and is a testing vibration where one experiences destruction and then a rebirth of sorts. It doesn’t always represent death, but I’d have to say in Prince’s case, his passing was definitely sudden and caught us off guard. In his own personal forecast chart, Prince did pass away on a personal day of 11 which does represent intuition (apparently he knew he was going to die) but also two ones represents a portal and passing through the gates to another realm. It’s also interesting to note that Prince’s name numbers are 911.

Very few people have had the influence on music and their career, or touch so many people with their talent, fierce independence and originality the way Prince did. RIP Prince. Say hello to Star Man and Severus Snape.

Namaste ♥ Blessings
